Angela combines an adept understanding of the science, mechanics and design of the products she is defending with the ability to translate complex topics in plain language for judges and juries. Her litigation experience includes selecting and developing experts on issues of causation, future medical expenses, non-economic damages and future lost wages, and she has extensive experience in deposing plaintiffs, prescribing physicians, treating physicians, epidemiologists and medical and causation experts. Angela has also defended premises liability and catastrophic personal injury matters and has briefed and argued appellate matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
In her previous role with the Attorney General of Texas, Angela represented the state as lead counsel in complex litigation in both state and federal courts. She successfully led a discovery team to comply with a federal production order and advised an entire state agency on legislative and regulatory changes impacting major industries.
Outside of the office, Angela enjoys spending time with her family and participating in competitive horseback riding. She also enjoys working on her passion project as the co-host and producer of a pop culture legal podcast that aims to increase legal literacy among the general public.
