Katherine Bell-Moss is a seasoned litigator with over 30 years of experience, including more than 25 trials. In her diverse practice, Katherine has represented every size of company in product liability matters, with a dual focus on life sciences and motor vehicles. Her career has encompassed defense of individual and mass tort cases from inception through final appeals, in federal and state courts from coast to coast.
Katherine’s passion for life and physical sciences has made her well-suited to depose retained experts, present company witnesses, and develop strategic causation defenses. She has repeatedly obtained favorable case-ending rulings after crafting and arguing Daubert and qualifications challenges, as well as cutting-edge dispositive motions.
Katherine’s life sciences clients have included manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biologics. She has defended automotive clients in seat back, seat belt, airbag, and fire cases. In addition to product defense, Katherine’s clients often seek her counsel on compliance and risk concerns in anticipated litigation and regulatory matters at the federal and state level. She has also advised clients on transactional matters, including mergers/acquisitions and employment contracts.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys live music, cooking and spending time outdoors – hiking, biking and boating.
