Mike Dirksen joined Bowman and Brooke in June 2022 as manager of its Client Advisory Technology Services (CATS) team. Mike brings years of in-depth practical e-Discovery experience to the CATS team. In his role, he consults with legal teams and clients regarding defensible discovery approaches and implementation of strategies that maximize efficiencies across the discovery lifecycle. He manages the day-to-day operation of the CATS team, facilitating rapid resolution to complicated discovery-related issues. He is a certified RelativityOne Review Pro.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Mike spent 10 years as an e-Discovery attorney at a law firm in Minneapolis. Mike also spent seven years at 3M contributing to discovery efforts in science-focused mass tort matters.
Before attending law school, Mike worked at 3M in its bioanalytical technology division, where his laboratory research led to the development of biocompatible materials and robust genetic sequencing methods in support of the Human Genome Project. As a result of his research, Mike is listed as an inventor on U.S. Patent No. 6,617,136.
