Mark Laidlaw counsels clients on discovery issues in complex product liability litigation.
Before joining Bowman and Brooke, Mark served as national discovery counsel for Ford Motor Company in the areas of restraint systems, glass, Windstar/Aerostar vehicles and insurance product liability litigation. In this role, he managed a team of paralegals in analyzing and preparing written discovery as well as conducting document review and document production. Mark also provided trial support, preparing witnesses, attending meet and confer conferences, and responding to discovery and related motions. He worked with legal teams throughout the United States. Mark also has experience serving as corporate counsel for State Farm Insurance, where he focused on developing discovery response and production strategies.
In his free time, Mark serves as Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 1532 in Plymouth, Michigan and is a Little League Baseball coach. He is a season ticket holder for Michigan State University football games.
