Jasmine Owens advises clients in automotive product liability cases and class actions. She has experience advising major auto manufacturers on discovery and pretrial matters for automotive warranty and lemon law cases. Jasmine managed a portfolio of cases including document review, document production, motions practice and advising local counsel on strategy.
Additionally, she has served as a public defender representing clients in pretrial hearings in a domestic violence courtroom, and served as a research attorney at the Michigan Court of Appeals, preparing research reports and proposed opinions for cases before the court.
While in law school, Jasmine served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Marianne O. Battani of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert P. Young, Jr. of the Michigan Supreme Court.
In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys collecting art and writing poetry, short stories and music. She is currently working on a picture book for children.
