Bob Rudock has served as lead counsel in handling complex product liability matters involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death on behalf of major domestic and foreign manufacturers, distributors and other companies. He has first- and second-chaired dozens of trials in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Texas and Maine.
Bob has appeared in various state and federal courts regionally and nationally in defense of major automotive clients in litigation involving vehicle components and systems such as occupant restraints, electronic control modules, airbags, roofs, seats, brakes, glazing, transmissions, suspensions and door systems. He has extensive experience defending his clients against claims for handling and stability, crashworthiness, rollovers, unintended acceleration, restraints, fires, warnings, welds, material composition and strength. He has also litigated cases involving a wide variety of other products including medical devices, power tools, trenching equipment, forklifts and window coverings.
In addition to his practice, Bob is a member of the prestigious Product Liability Advisory Council, the Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. He also coaches baseball at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Ft. Lauderdale.
