Robert E. Scott, Jr. is an experienced attorney with over 50 years of civil trial experience. He concentrates his practice in all areas of products liability, drug and medical devices, environmental/toxic torts and insurance coverage matters in state and federal courts throughout the United States. He has served as national counsel in insurance coverage and products liability litigation and has represented multiple companies in class action litigation.
Bob has served as former president of several prominent professional bar associations, including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Maryland Defense Counsel, National Foundation for Judicial Excellence, and Lawyers for Civil Justice. He has also served as the Director of the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy and is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and the Maryland State and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He is also a lifetime member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
Bob is widely recognized for his devotion to the legal profession and his commitment to the civil justice system. He has published numerous articles and lectured extensively within the Mid Atlantic area as well as nationally on topics involving insurance coverage, products liability, drug and medical devices and trial skills and tactics.
