He began his career as an associate in one of Miami’s largest and most respected firms where he became the youngest person in the firm’s history to earn equity shareholder status, only six years out of law school. In 1995, John launched a litigation boutique firm along with long-time partner Charles Flick. After building a successful trial practice in its Miami, Orlando and Detroit offices that firm merged with Bowman and Brooke in 2016. John’s practice has diversified over the years with clients asking him to defend serious commercial cases and international arbitration matters.
John has earned the respect of clients, fellow trial lawyers, and opposing lawyers alike, and he is recognized as a top lawyer by local, regional and national publications. He follows the adage that one should surround oneself with the best and the brightest, and surrounds himself with others who share his competitiveness and commitment to clients.
