Whitney Todd is an experienced discovery attorney whose practice concentrates on product liability, toxic tort, personal injury and insurance defense matters at both federal and state levels.
Whitney utilizes strategic discovery management, professional consultation and effective negotiation to achieve favorable outcomes for her clients. With a deep understanding of eDiscovery processes—she serves as a valuable resource to litigators by providing tactical guidance on the rules, procedures and obligations related to electronic information. Her capabilities include preserving, collecting, reviewing and producing electronic data, as well as addressing complex issues in digital forensics, data security, privacy and records management. Her ability to negotiate search terms, oversee privilege reviews and manage contract attorneys has been instrumental in her success.
Following amendments to the Federal and Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure, Whitney created model discovery responses and has developed and implemented tailored document retention plans and legal holds for various clients. As a result, Whitney has successfully managed large-scale discovery projects, including the review and production of over 400,000 documents in six months’ time. She has also developed strategies to collect, review and produce over three million pages of documents from multiple sites nationwide.
Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family and dogs in the Cuyahoga Valley, participating in charity walks and giving back to her community.
