Bowman and Brooke is proud to announce that Miami Senior Counsel Dorinda Varley has been selected as a 2022 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow. The LCLD participants take part in a seven-month professional program designed to train high-performing, early-career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship-building. The program provides participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession along with experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.
Additionally, Bowman and Brooke San Jose Partner Lauren Miller and Columbia Senior Counsel Paula Meyer, have been selected as 2022 LCLD Pathfinders. Designed to supplement training initiatives at LCLD Member corporations and law firms, the Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator to serve as a mentor in helping one connect what they learn in the program to the organization at which they work.
Bowman and Brooke has actively supported LCLD since 2011 and has had more than 20 lawyers involved as Fellows or Pathfinders. The firm is a recipient of LCLD’s Compass award (2018 - 2020) and Top Performer award (2017 and 2018).
