Ashleigh Wilson Recognized as ABA Young Lawyers Division "Star of the Quarter"
Columbia Associate Ashleigh Wilson received the American Bar Association (ABA) Young Lawyers Division (YLD) "Star of the Quarter" award for her work in implementing the Disaster Legal Services Plan in South Carolina. As the ABA YLD District Representative for South Carolina, it was Ashleigh's responsibility to implement FEMA's disaster legal services plan following the state's recent catastrophic flooding.

Ashleigh's duty as District Representative involved attending the Governor's Team South Carolina Event at FEMA's Disaster Relief Center in Lower Richland. During the event she handed out information regarding the hotline for flood victims to call and get free legal assistance established by the ABA YLD and the South Carolina Bar YLD.
In addition to managing her duties as District Representative, Ashleigh focuses on expanding her product liability and commercial law practice. She is committed to her clients and to being a continued steward for the Columbia community in which she lives and works.
About the Award
Each quarter the Division’s four directors acknowledge outstanding leadership of committee members as a “Star of the Quarter” for recent projects and service achievements. The “Star of the Quarter” recognition is presented to the recipient at each Division Meeting for their accomplishment.
