Columbia Associate Ashleigh Wilson was named the Columbia Chamber's 2016 Young Professional of the Year. Ashleigh will be honored on September 29 at the Chamber's Annual Gala and Silent Auction at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
This award is given to an individual nominated by his or her peers who demonstrates a commitment to making the greater Columbia region an even better environment for young professionals to flourish professionally and personally. The award recipient must exemplify leadership in the community through active involvement and leadership roles in civic and/or philanthropic organizations; and, must be a graduate of the Leadership Columbia program, a current member of the Columbia chamber and/or a current member of the Columbia Opportunity Resource.
An active member in the local community and beyond, Ashleigh is involved in a multitude of leadership roles. She currently serves as the Secretary-Treasurer to the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyers Division, is an active member of the Junior League of Columbia and a tennis partner and Board member for the Special Olympics South Carolina.
