Richard Morgan Appointed to Judicial Selection Committee for Minnesota Federal District Court Vacancies

Minneapolis Partner Richard Morgan was selected by Congressman Erik Paulsen to serve on the newly-formed Judicial Selection Committee tasked with filling two vacancies on Minnesota’s federal district court.

Rick is part of an esteemed and diverse group of professionals whom Congressman Paulsen describes as "some of Minnesota's brightest legal minds" entrusted to recommend the judicial candidates to President-elect Donald Trump. The committee will meet in January to begin the process of accepting applications and reviewing candidates.

In a press release issued on December 27th, 2016, Congressman Paulsen stated, “I have full confidence in their ability to identify the most-qualified individuals to apply the law in a fair manner, and to ensure equal treatment under the law to all Minnesotans. I look forward to reviewing the committee’s work and recommending candidates to the President-elect who will serve Minnesota faithfully.”
