Bowman and Brooke LLP is excited to announce the expansion of its Texas offices with the addition of six product liability and complex commercial litigators, bringing the Firm’s Texas lawyer team to 30 strong, with 14 attorneys in Dallas and 16 in Austin.
Partners Jeff Patterson and Clayton Callen, Of Counsel Alfredo Silva, Senior Counsel Luke Spencer, and Associates Courtney Kenisky and Andrew Patterson, along with two staff members, join Bowman and Brooke from regional firm Hartline Barger LLP. Mr. Callen is based in its Austin office while the others join the Firm’s Plano-based Dallas office.

Mr. Patterson, a renowned trial attorney, has first-chaired nearly 60 jury trials to verdict throughout Texas and across the country. He has served as national trial counsel for product manufacturers, crafting defenses in pattern litigation, as well as traditional product cases. He brings nearly 35 years of experience representing automotive and truck manufacturers in complex product liability, patent, fraud and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Product Liability Advisory Council and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. Callen represents Fortune 500 companies, including vehicle manufacturers, in a wide range of litigation involving complex product liability and commercial, in both trial and appellate courts. Mr. Callen has been trial counsel with Patterson in four trials recently.
Mr. Silva brings decades of experience in commercial, bankruptcy, product liability and personal injury litigation. He has twice served as president of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and Dallas Bar Association.
Mr. Spencer is a trial lawyer who defends clients in high-stakes litigation matters across the country. His practice includes product liability litigation, commercial litigation, personal injury cases, premises liability disputes, and insurance defense matters. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association’s Mock Trial and Community Involvement Committees.
Ms. Kenisky defends automotive manufacturers in product liability and complex commercial litigation cases in both state and federal courts throughout Texas.
Andrew Patterson recently graduated magna cum laude law graduate from the Baylor University law school where he was senior executive editor of the Baylor Law Review and, a member of the Baylor Law Moot Court team.
